This was my first week in my typography class. The first project was to hand draw these letters from a typeface of our choosing, one serif and one sans serif, then identify the anatomical elements of characters. It was fun and I’m really looking forward to learning more about the craft.

And finally done. This was a fun / tricky project. I don’t have a lot of experience with colour pencils, but I feel this came together pretty nicely. I’ve included the colours I mixed together as well as my references if you’re interested in seeing. I think I got pretty close.
